The Glazy Daze Adult’s Workshops start at £7.50 per person for a plate or a standard mug. There is a minimum fee of £75 which covers 10 people or 10 items of pottery. The paint, glazing and firing and, where appropriate, an initial meeting to discuss your requirements are all covered in this price. Other items are available when requested in advance ~ If you have something particular in mind just ask and we will try to find something that suits your aspirations and your budget!
Something beautiful can be made by anyone, of any level of capability, so the activity is well suited to less able people.
The workshop can be freestyle or tutor led, in which case everyone in the group follows the technique demonstrated by the tutor. Most people say that they can’t paint at the beginning of a workshop but are amazed at what they have achieved by the end!
All you need is a venue, as long as there is light, heat and running water (and maybe a table and chairs but not necessarily!) you have everything you need to hold a workshop!
The paints used are all certified as non-toxic and the items suitable for use with hot food and drinks. Once the items have been decorated they are taken back to the studio to be glazed and fired and returned within the week.
